Duvall, Janalee (Marriage - 28 Feb. 1959)
Miss Janalee Duvall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Duvall of Colby, Rt. 2, and Franklin Gustafson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hilmer Gustafson of Owen, Rt. 2, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock in the First Evangelical and Reformed church in Colby, Wis., Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch officiating at the ceremony. Herb Juneau sang two solos, the "Lord’s Prayer" and "O, Perfect Love."
The bride was attired in a ballerina length bridal gown of imported Chantilly lace and nylon tulle. It was styled with long sleeves and a Sabrina neckline with sequin and pearl trim. A finger-tip length veil of sheer illusion net was caught to a crown headpiece of nylon tulle trimmed with pearls. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and red roses.
Bridal attendants were Mrs. Lyle Duvall; sister-in-law of the bride, and Miss Patricia Gustafson, the groom’s cousin. They wore gowns of nylon taffeta in a ballerina length styled with taffeta cummerbunds and carried pink and white carnation bouquets.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
The bride is a graduate of Colby High School and the groom is a graduate of Owen High School.
